Members of the Association of SHG, established by Women's Public Union Erayim in Kara-Suu district of Osh oblast, provided targeted aid in the amount of 24,000 soms to 40 families of Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural districts who found themselves in difficult situations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Until this time, our Associations worked in four areas, organized events in the social, economic, environmental and cultural areas. This time, to carry out charity work, they clarified the list of needy, large families, organized a meeting of the Association, discussed how to organize charitable assistance. Three members of the Association agreed to charity, each allocated 6,000 soms from the general fund, and as a result collected 18,000 soms. Besides, another 6,000 soms were collected from rural businessmen. The above families were given flour, vegetable oil, macaroni, rice, salt, sugar,’ says members of the Association of SHG.

We were pleased that the Association of SHG on the day of Arapa -on the last day of the month of Ramadan, and in such difficult circumstance throughout the country held a charity event, worshipped our deceased ancestors, wished the people well-being and speedy improvement of the pandemic situation’- said Zaripa Mamatova, a member of the Zhakshylyk SHG and Zubaida Zhoroeva, a member Raduga SHG.
