Between 19 and 25 January 2020 of the current year a training course was organized for heads and educators of maternal schools operating in Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural districts of Kara-Suu district in Osh oblast within the framework of the 3rd phase of WPU Erayim’s project ‘Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’, supported by the German international organization Bread for the World.

The training course included the following topics: “Planning the Organisational Work and Current Monitoring Activities”, “Paperwork in Maternal Schools and Organizing Proper Nutrition”, “Modern Technologies in Ethnopedagogical Education of Children”. The training course was conducted by an expert on Maternal Schools, an experienced specialist in pre-school education, Dilnara Maigulakova.

The main purpose of the event is to educate the leaders of maternal schools in the effective conduct of daily work and monitoring activities, monitoring the nutrition of children under state standards, as well as promoting the development of ethnopedagogical education in the upbringing of the younger generation.

The training was accompanied by interesting discussions, the exchange of experiences and opinions. Training participants worked in small groups to develop the appropriate calendar and annual plans. In turn, the training participants expressed their willingness to share their knowledge with colleagues and apply them in everyday work.
