During the period from 21 to 23 December 2020, within the framework of the third phase of the Erayim project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’, supported by the German international organization Bread for the World, a three-day training was held for heads of maternal schools in Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural districts of Kara-Suu district in Osh oblast on the topic “Legal and regulatory instruments regulating the activities of maternal schools”. The training was conducted by an experienced expert in pre-school education.

The training was attended by the heads of 20 maternal schools. During the training, the legal and regulatory instruments regulating the activities of preschool educational institutions, the state educational standard of the Kyrgyz Republic “Preschool education and childcare” were studied, and issues of child safety and the organization of the educational process during emergencies and the coronavirus pandemic (online education, feedback, etc.). The training participants also familiarized themselves with the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated May 11, 2020 No. 244 “On additional measures to reduce the risks of the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19)”.

“To train the heads of maternal schools, to properly organize online education, to pay special attention to raising children in accordance with the state educational standard and to promote the development of the younger generation is the main goal of the event,” added Dilnara Maigulakova.

The training was accompanied by an interesting conversation, exchange of views and practice. At the end of the training, Dilnara Magulakova handed out handouts to the participants, legal and regulatory instruments, and there were also discussions on improving the activities of the resource center for maternal schools in Osh oblast. The participants of the training thanked the organizers of the training and promised to share the knowledge gained with other colleagues and apply it in their daily work.
