30 children's Self-Help Groups were created of 226 children Shark, Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak municipalities Kara-Suu district within the framework of the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Traditional and Modern Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’ implemented by the organization Erayim under the support of the German International organization Bread for the World.

It should be noted that 98 of all SHG children are active in the Shark municipality. These are children of ‘Navbahor’, ‘Yiman Nuru’, ‘Ak Niet’, ‘Kelechek’, ‘Yntymak’ children's Self-Help Groups and others. Earlier, these groups carried out a number of activities during the emergency period, - said Kiyal Mamazhanova, coordinator for ChSHG.

On January 27, 2021, active members of the Children's Self-Help Groups came up with an initiative to start learning offline. 50 members collected 20 soms, for the collected 1000 soms they bought 100 masks, distributed to schoolchildren, urging them to beware of a dangerous disease. These active children told their classmates and friends about COVID-19. Note that this event will be continued in Mady and Kyzyl-Kyshtak municipalities too.

Gulshan Kurbanova, head of the ‘Navbahor’ children's Self-Help Group, said that the purpose of the event is to prevent the dangerous diseases which are growing among children and to strengthen the friendship between children, to teach them to live in harmony and unity.
