Improving the infrastructure of the villages will make life easier for residents and help to address security issues. Self-Help Groups and its Associations established within the framework of Erayim projects play an important role in solving local problems.

The SHG Association Kerme-Too of Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural district of Kara-Suu district of Osh Oblast, based on close cooperation with local authorities, allocated funds in the amount of 60 thousand soms for installation of street lighting on 10 electric poles on Oomat Street in Ishkavan village.

"Street lighting is one of the best initiatives. There used to be no lighting on the internal streets of Ishkavan, but now our street is illuminated and it has become safer at night," says Avakan Nyshanova, a member of the Kerme-Too SHG Association.
