At the Guldeste maternal school in the village of Kairyma in the Akman rural district of Bazar-Korgon district, children presented a concert programme to their parents, where they performed songs and dances taught to them by their teachers.

It should be noted that this maternal school is organized within the WPU Erayim project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Modern and Traditional Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’, supported by the German international organization Bread for the World. It was opened on the initiative and efforts of the Self-Help Groups Tynchtyk and Baibol. Before that, there was no kindergarten in the village. The villagers have been waiting for a long time for the opening of a preschool educational institution. The maternal school opened with 75 places, but now the number of places has increased to 150. The equipment is modern and all necessary conditions have been created. On the occasion of Defense of the Fatherland Day, the children performed under the motto: "We are tomorrow's defenders of the Fatherland", sang patriotic songs and cheered up everyone present with a sweet speech. At the same time, parents played various games with their children, read poems to their children and some of them sang with their children. According to Dilfuza Nazaralieva, Project Coordinator for Maternal Schools, such an event was organized in all maternal schools in the project area.
