The event "Mum's Fairy Tale" was held at the maternal school "Nazik" in Bazar-Korgon town of Bazar-Korgon district. Children's mothers tell fairy tales.

Based on their mother's fairy tale, children play a special theatrical performance. This time the teachers of the maternal school presented the Russian folk tale ‘Turnip’ (Repka) to the children. The children watched it with great interest.

Sapura Haydarova, director of the Nazik Maternal School, said the following: "140 children are upbringing here. Although the children here are of different nationalities, they are taught only in Kyrgyz. Therefore, learning the customs of the Kyrgyz people and teaching children the state language is of paramount importance. To raise children's consciousness and their views on the environment, a special theatre scene from fairy tales is played out one by one. Apart from that, parents also come to the children and actively participate in telling fairy tales".

It is worth noting that this maternal school is supported by the project ‘The Introduction of a Combination of Modern and Traditional Approaches to Prevent the Conflict in the South of Kyrgyzstan’, implemented by the Women's Public Union Erayim with financial support from the international German organization Bread for the World.
